On the day we left, the clouds really cleared up and the water was beautiful. It was difficult to leave.
On the way back to the airport, I got a few pictures of the shanty towns on the side of the road - these are in pockets not too far from nice
neighborhoods and downtown Cape Town. The houses were made out of corrugated aluminum and whatever else they could find. It was so sad.
These people live right under the powerlines, and yet they have no electricity.
