We saw a dead hyena on the side of the road, very close to the villages where people lived. These people really live next to/in Jurassic Park.

Cows crossed the road frequently, and they don't stop for traffic.

We barely made it to Capetown, and when we got there, a strong storm had just passed. For the first time, seafoam had washed off the beach and into the roads - giant suds covered the roads and cars. It was neat and gross at the same time. We won't mention the sea foam/flat tire episode.

Returning to Capetown, we stayed in The Bay Hotel, in Camps Bay. It was amazing, and they treated us like royalty. It was a nice way to return from the bush.

Moments after arriving in our room, an attendent arrived with a bottle of champagne and a slice of chocolate cake - yum!!

So I naturally went for the champagne and bathrobe!
